What type of paint do you use?
Depending on what your item is destined for or the specific paint requirement we can apply a range of products via different methods.
We recommend and use epoxy primers and two pack polyurethane topcoats from all the major brands such as International, Dulux, Wattyl, PPG and Jotun.
Do you paint to spec?
100% we do! We have specialised equipment to apply and monitor the application process. We can track atmospheric conditions during the painting process
along with calibrated instruments to read the dry film thickness once fully cured. All this information is laid out on a paint report including the
products, batch numbers, dates, times and applicators.
Do you apply a primer?
Best Blast recommends the application of a protective coating after blasting. We use the best available products within the recommended time frame.
Application to a perfectly blasted surface will protect and increase the lifespan of your project for years to come.
Can you blast cars without causing warping?
Yes. You can be assured your pride and joy is in safe hands. Our team consists of qualified panel beaters and spray painters. We have the experience and
ability to blast cars and car panels without damaging them. Blasting is ideal for removing rust, filler, paint, seam sealer and soundproofing whilst creating
a mechanical bond perfect for primers to adhere to. It is an economical process compared to other stripping methods
Can you blast aluminium or stainless steel?
We can blast both aluminium and stainless steel to prepare the surface for paint or use our specialist blast media to create architectural finishes that do not require further coatings. Stainless steel spools react extremely well to bead blasting,
removing surface contaminants whilst producing a sparkling lustre. Images can be seen on our website and Facebook page.
